Technological Growth
We want to provide digital solutions for Unions to help them modernize their communication with their membership. In today’s day and age we need to grow into a more sophisticated movement that embraces technology.
That’s why UUEC will be investing heavily in building communications platforms that Unions can use to effectively communicate with their members. The communication platform we are developing will help union leaders organize and mobilize their membership with enterprise level communication for a greatly reduced cost.
We need to level the playing field between labour movements and employers, building better digital communication infrastructure for unions and their members will help us grow.
Community Growth
The UUEC is investing in locally run community initiatives and charities.
When you become a member, you get to select which charity or community initiative you would like to support. 50% of membership dues are allocated to investing in these causes. Simply sign up and pick the cause you want to support.
Want to suggest a charity that we can add to the list? As a member we want to support causes that you believe in. When you join you can submit the name of the charity and why you think we should add them to the list of community initiatives we support.
Mental Health Advocacy
We have all faced unprecedented challenges in the last year. The mental health crisis that existed before Covid-19 has now exploded and become a pandemic in itself. Now more than ever we need to lend a hand up to others.
That’s why UUEC is investing in helping activists get crisis counselling courses for free, so that they can be better equipped to help their Brothers and Sisters with the growing mental health crisis we see in work places today and tomorrow.
